The only way to erase the national debt is to let the nation crumble. When we find ourselves raising the next generation in the rubble, maybe we will learn to rebuild a new world. We have nowhere to go but deeper into trouble; everyone seems to know this, since we only keep talking about lowering the deficit—the speed at which our debt grows—instead of lowering the real debt. The government has overspent far worse than the average American household with a credit card, and I see no hope of it ever climbing out. Bring the apocalypse.
